Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Japan; President and CEO: Gyo Sagara, “ONO”) announced that it has been selected for the index component of the “Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World,” the global version of DJSI, which is the world’s leading environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment index, and “DJSI Asia Pacific,” the Asia-Pacific version for four straight years.

DJSI world selects the top 10% of companies in each industry. The top six companies in the global pharmaceutical sector, including ONO were selected as constituents.

ONO continues to contribute to society, and work toward the realization of a sustainable society by discovering and developing innovative pharmaceutical products.
